The UAM Journalism Club

The UAM Journalism Club publishes UAM’s online news source, The Voice.

The UAM Journalism Club consists of communication majors with a media emphasis and others of like mind that a campus community must be independently informed by student publications to truly understand moments in time. Annual dues of $5/semester, donations and any fundraising activities accrue toward contest entries, travel funds and media convention expenses.

The UAM Journalism Club brought the Last Lecture Series to the Arkansas-Monticello campus. Beginning in 2010, the club co-sponsored the event with the Student Government Association. The UAM Journalism Club also co-sponsored campus Issue Forums with Pi Kappa Delta, the Student Government Association and the American Democracy Project.
