UAM To Hold Free Cyber Bulling Awareness Workshop For Parents

MONTICELLO — A free workshop designed to help parents understand how to protect their children from cyber bullies will be offered by the University of Arkansas at Monticello October 22 from 6-7 p.m. in Wells Hall Room 200.tv_buzzworthy 10db

The workshop will help parents recognize cyber bullying and offer ideas about how to respond. “Bullies used to be found only on playgrounds,” explained Memorie Dickson, coordinator of community education. “Now they are on cell phones, Facebook, and other areas of the internet. Bullying has evolved and cyber bullying can lead to many problems, including suicide.”
