MONTICELLO – The University of Arkansas-Monticello’s cheer squad conducted its annual game day youth clinic this past Saturday with nearly 80 participants.

“We had 79 registered participants at Saturday morning’s clinic,” said cheer coach Krystal Shipp. “Almost all of them returned to the game to show off their skills for the big game day crowd! It was a great turn out and a very successful clinic. The UAM cheerleaders and myself enjoyed working with the youth cheerleaders of Drew County.”

At the clinic, the participants learned one cheer, two chants, a dance, motion technique, tumbling, stunts and jumps. They performed during halftime of UAM’s 33-14 win over Southwestern Oklahoma State.
