Smith Leads UAM Men’s Golf At Union FallClassic

JACKSON, Tennessee – Junior Hunter Smith finished third out of over 40 participants to lead the University of Arkansas-Monticello’s men’s golf team to a tie for third place out of eight teams at the Union Fall Classic at the Jackson Country Sports reflection 10db

Smith posted scores of 71, 72 and 75 for a three-round total of 218, just two strokes behind second place finisher Shane Peden of Bethel College and justthree strokes behind top finisher Easton Lavelle of Freed-Hardeman.

Junior Ari Magnusson tied for 10th at 227, junior Theodor Karlsson tied for 14th at 229, sophomore Bryan Witmer tied for 21st at 233 and junior Billie Trawick finished 26th at 235.

As a team, the Weevils posted a three-round total of 902 to tie Cumberland University for third place. Spring Hill College finished first at 893, and Bethel College finished second at 895.
