Four Top Ten Finishes Place Women’s Golf 2nd At Union Classic

JACKSON, Tennessee – The University of Arkansas-Monticello’s women’s golf team placed four of its five participants in the top 10 to lead the squad to a second place finish out of seven teams the Union Fall Classic at the Jackson Country Sports reflection 10db

Sophomore Lauren Johnson led the way with a tie for second place individualfinish out of 38 players with scores of 77 and 78. The Dewitt, Arkansas native finished just three strokes off the leader, Lindsey Taylor of Cumberland University.

Freshman Frida Rydberg finished in sixth place at 159. Junior Pamela Quiatchon and sophomore Sammy Rodriguez each tied for ninth at 164. Freshman Brianna Dickerson rounded out UAM’s team with a tie for 23rd at 176.

As a team, UAM had a two-round total of 642, just four strokes behind firstplace finisher Cumberland.
