Football Tryouts Set For April 24

MONTICELLO – The University of Arkansas at Monticello football program will conduct tryouts April 24 from 3-5 p.m.tv Sports reflection 10db

   Prospective student-athletes will be tested to evaluate their strength, speed, agility and football skills. Testing will include height and weight measurements, bench press, 40-yard dash, pro shuttle, agility drills and one-on-one skills competitions.

   To be eligible for tryout participation, prospective student-athletes must submit a $35 registration free, a copy of an official high school transcript, ACT and/or SAT scores, proof of registration with the NCAA eligibility center, completed tryout form signed by parent, completed liability release form, results of sickle cell solubility test and a physical form signed by a physician that was completed within the past six months.    Tryouts will begin at 3 p.m. Registration will be held from 2-3 p.m.
