UAM Offers Community Education Courses

MONTICELLO — Non-credit courses in topics ranging from basic computer skills to sewing are being offered this spring by the University ofArkansas-Monticello’s Department of Community Education.

   “We have a lot of exciting new classes for our spring session,” said Memorie Dickson, program coordinator.  “Our new offerings include Beginner Knitting, Intermediate Sewing, Mom and Me Jewelry Making, Cookie Decorating, Jewelry Making Using Wire, Gourmet Breakfast in a Pinch, Cooking with UAM Ducks Unlimited:  Recipes for Cooking and Preparing Wild Duck, and several other cooking classes.  Some of these classes are filling quickly, so early registration is encouraged.”
