UAM Stem Center, Education Renewal Zone To Host Open House

tv_buzzworthy 10dbMONTICELLO — The University of Arkansas at Monticello’s Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Center, School of Education, and the Education Renewal Zone will host an open house at Willard Hall on the UAM campus Sept. 26 from 2-5 p.m.

   The event will showcase STEM education on the UAM campus and will include interactive activities and exhibits as well as presentations hosted by the Arkansas Museum of Discovery’s Planet X Mobile Museum.

   Presentations will also be made by UAM’s teacher education interns, public school students and teachers, and faculty from the UAM School of Education, UAM STEM Center specialists, and faculty from the School of Mathematical and Natural Sciences, the School ofArts and Humanities, the Taylor Library and Technology Center and the School of Forest Resources.
