Log-A-Load – Joshua Adams (left), assistant professor of forestry at the University of Arkansas at Monticello, and Philip Tappe, dean of the UAM School of Forest Resources, display a quilt to be auctioned at Log-A-Load for Kids this Saturday, Aug. 3 at 6 p.m. at the First Assembly of God Church on U.S. Highway 425 North in Monticello. The UAM Forestry Club is one of the sponsors for the event, which annually raises money for the Arkansas Children’s Hospital. The quilt was sewn by Adams’ mother, Sandi Adams of Ruston, La.
