tv_buzzworthy 10dbMONTICELLO – The University of Arkansas at Monticello (www.uamont.edu) School of Nursing is seeking applicants for a nine month full-time tenure track position as assistant professor of nursing beginning Aug. 12. The BSN program is NLNAC accredited and both the BSN and AASN programs are approved by the Arkansas State Board of Nursing.

Qualifications:  A master’s degree in nursing is required, doctorate in nursing is preferred. Graduate education in nursing with an educator focus and evidence of excellence in teaching, scholarship and service is preferred. An unencumbered Arkansas RN license or eligibility is required.

Responsibilities:  Classroom and clinical instruction of BSN/AASN students, recruitment and retention efforts, student advising, curriculum development, student assessment and evaluation, participation on School of Nursing and University committees and other faculty responsibilities.

Salary:  Commensurate with qualifications and experience including excellent fringe benefits.
