MONTICELLO — The University of Arkansas at Monticello is hosting an exhibition of artwork by students in kindergarten through the 12th grade now through April 14 as part of the Southeast Arkansas Regional K-12 Art Exhibition.

   The exhibit is on display in the Spencer Gallery of the UAM Fine Arts Center. Gallery hours are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. The exhibit is free and open to the public. A closing reception and awards ceremony will be held on Sunday, April 14 at 2 p.m.

   Students from 10 southeast Arkansas counties (Ashley, Bradley, Calhoun, Chicot, Cleveland, Desha, Drew, Jefferson, Lincoln, and Union) contributed artwork to the exhibit. For more information, contact Tom Richard at (870) 460-1338.
