Foehringer Places Sixth In STIHL Timbersports Collegiate Challenge

MONTICELLO — Adam Foehringer of Hot Springs, a senior forestry major at the University of Arkansas at Monticello, placed sixth in the STIHL Timbersports Collegiate Challenge at Auburn, Ala., held in conjunction with the Association of Southern Forestry Clubs Conclave last week.

   Foehringer competed in four events – the underhand chop, standing block chop, single bucksaw, and chain saw – placing third in chain saw and sixth overall. The event included professional competitors as well as one competitor from forestry clubs from 14 schools throughout the southeast.
