MONTICELLO-The University of Arkansas-Monticello’s Nyesia Driver hosted the Study Skill Workshop Feb. 19.

The workshop was held in Harris Hall Room 200 and discussed several important topics when it comes to studying. These topics include time management, organization, techniques and styles of note taking.

Those who attended the workshop filled out a study skill checklist to help them find out what areas they need help in with their own study habits.

Driver also discussed other aspects of studying such as procrastination, goal setting, prioritizing and study habits.

Driver said not all students can study the exact same way and do well.

“Some people can study the night before and ace the test,” Driver said. “Some need to study days before to do well.”

Driver will be hosting more of these workshops over the course of the semester.

Check with The Voice for dates of upcoming workshops.
