Campus Offers Variety Of Community Education Courses

tv_buzzworthy 10dbMONTICELLO— Non-credit courses in topics ranging from photography to sign language are being offered this spring by the University of Arkansas-Monticello’s Department of Community Education.

   “We have a lot of exciting classes set to begin in late January thought February,” Memorie Dickson said, program coordinator. 
“Classes include: Conversational Spanish, Beginner Cake Decorating, How to Take Better Photographs, Excel III, Word III, iPhone Basics, Introduction to Sign Language, Computer Clean Up, Sushi Party, Couch to 5K, What Every Facebook User Should Know and Fraud Prevention: What you don’t know about scams can hurt you.”

   Space is limited in many classes, so early registration is encouraged.
  Students wishing to register for a class should complete a registration form and submit payment at least five business days in advance.  

   Registration may be completed online, by calling (870) 460-1327 or emailing Memorie Dickson at Dickson@uamont.edu.
