   The department of athletics at the University of Arkansas at Monticello is seeking qualified applicants for immediate hire as a graduate assistant/head cheerleading coach.

Responsibilities: The responsibilities include implementation and management of all phases of a competitive NCAA Division II cheerleading program in accordance with NCAA, Great American Conference and University regulations including coaching, recruiting, traveling, managing budget, supervising athletes, fund-raising, promoting and monitoring academic progress of cheerleaders. Other duties may be assigned by the director of athletics.

Qualifications:  All applicants must be admitted or eligible for admission into an approved graduate program of study.  The successful candidate will work for the University of Arkansas at Monticello (UAM) and be granted time for graduate course work and class attendance.

   A competitive background in college cheering or coaching preferred.

Compensation:  Tuition and fee payment (at a pre-approved rate) to any accredited university, monthly stipend of $500, private fully furnished residential apartment and university meal plan.  This is a non-benefits eligible position on a twelve-month schedule with a maximum scheduled employment not to exceed two years.
