tv_buzzworthy 10dbMCGEHEE – The University of Arkansas at Monticello College of Technology-McGehee is seeking applicants for a full-time, 12 month non-tenure track faculty position of Workforce Ed Instructor of Health Professions.

Responsibilities: Primary duties include teaching a variety of health related undergraduate/technical courses including phlebotomy and nursing assistant courses; coordinating EMT and Paramedic clinical experiences; developing and teaching online courses or willingness to learn online teaching requirements; and serve on department and University committees. In addition to teaching, the employee will be responsible for advising and registering students; developing instructional and lab activities; keeping program and student records; assisting with recruitment, placement, and follow-up; participating in professional development activities; making business and industry contacts; coordinating and supervising internship/practicum assignments and other duties as assigned. Evening and/or summer hours may be required.

Qualifications: Minimum qualifications include an associate’s degree in a health related field, a current non-encumbered Arkansas Nursing license and a minimum of three years related work/teaching experience. Must possess good communication, problem solving, decision making and organizational skills, and be willing to obtain occupational-related certifications as deemed necessary.

Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience with excellent fringe benefits.
